The International Road Transport Union (IRU) promotes digitalization and modernization of the legal framework in the field of motor transport in Turkmenistan, representatives of the organization told Trend.

"Currently, fruitful cooperation is continuing between the IRU and a member of the organization — the Turkmen Association of International Road Carriers (THADA), as well as with the Turkmen authorities and partners in order to develop cooperation aimed at modernizing the regulatory framework in the field of road transport of Turkmenistan," the representative of the union said.

The organization also told about how Turkmenistan fruitfully interacts with the IRU in order to use the best practices and more effective interaction in this area to realize the country's transport and transit potential.
