Turkmenistan will annually export 4 billion kWh of electricity to Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan will import 4 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity from Turkmenistan, UzDaily reports with reference to the press secretary of the President of Uzbekistan Sherzod Asadov.
Asadov said that during the recent visit of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Turkmenistan, the countries agreed to develop cooperation in the energy sector.
At the end of the high-level talks in Ashgabat, the heads of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan signed a Declaration on deepening strategic partnership and more than 10 documents on various areas of cooperation.
