The Presidents of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan opened the Tashkent Park in Ashgabat

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Head of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev took part in the grand opening of the Tashkent Recreation Park in Ashgabat, TDH reports.
Elements of national Uzbek architecture and decor were used in the design of the park, which has become a symbol of unbreakable Turkmen-Uzbek friendship.

Everything is provided on its territory for family recreation – children will definitely like the colorfully decorated attractions and playgrounds, and adults will be able to have a good time in the Tashkent cafe, teahouse, restaurant and amphitheater for open-air concerts.
Everyone who has been to Tashkent, or has seen the capital of Uzbekistan in photographs, will definitely find original elements in the design of the new park that reflect the symbolism of the city.

For example, a sculptural composition depicting the globe and storks soaring up on a fountain with mosaic ornaments in the park is similar to the one that crowns the arch on the main square of Tashkent. It is also easy to recognize the minified copy of the Tashkent TV Tower, which is one of the main attractions of the Uzbek capital.
Earlier in April 2018, the Ashgabat Park was opened in the capital of Uzbekistan, which has become a vivid symbol of friendship of neighboring countries and over the years has gained great popularity among both locals and guests of Tashkent.
