Turkmen jiu-jitsu practitioners won four medals at the international tournament in Kazakhstan

Other four medals - one gold medal and one bronze medal as well as two silver medals were secured by Turkmen sportsmen at the International Jiu-Jitsu Tournament Grand Prix Nur-Sultan 2019, which was completed in the Kazakh capital city. Two of them -«silver» and «bronze» were secured by Mergen Jorayev, vice-champion of Asia of 2018, who performed in the weight class under 85 kg. The gold medal was won by young jiu-jitsu fighter Musa Kasymov (under 30 kg.), and the silver by Kayumberdi Dovletov, another novice athlete in the weight category under 66 kg who yielded to a Kazakh sportsman. The first day of the International Jiu-Jitsu Tournament Grand Prix Nur-Sultan 2019 brought two medals to the Turkmen national team – «gold» and «silver». Asian champion Sayara Avesmetova (under 48kg.) and Isa Kasymov (under 55 kg.) have become their holders.
