Spanish holding Atresmedia interested in joint TV projects with Turkmenistan


The Spanish media holding Atresmedia has expressed its interest in joint TV projects about Turkmenistan. In response to this proposal, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country organized an online meeting of representatives of the leadership of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television and Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography with the directorate of the documentary program Enviado Especial (“Special Envoy”) of the Atresmedia group.

During the meeting held on Friday, the Spanish television men and their Turkmen colleagues considered the possibility of organizing filming of various stories in Turkmenistan, as well as reporting on international events. The result of the meeting was an agreement to continue the dialogue in a working order, the press service of the country's Foreign Ministry told ORIENT.

Atresmedia is a leading Spanish media group with key positions in all sectors in which it operates: television, radio, internet, film, third party production and education. Its flagship brands are Antena 3 and La Sexta TV channels. According to the latest reports, Atresmedia has the highest ranking among all Spanish communication groups. Its audience is more than 19.5 million viewers.

The Enviado Especial program is broadcast on La Sexta TV channel. The media group is currently launching a new country documentary series that will be shown in prime time on La Sexta and then in 25 other countries via ATRESplayer and the streaming platform.
