The United States Embassy in Turkmenistan offers “the Study of the United States Institutes for Young Student Women Leaders” program
The US Institutes for Women in Leadership is currently accepting applications for a program with the theme "Environmental Issues". The 5-week program will begin in June 2023. The deadline for applications is December 20, 2022.
US Institutes for Women in Leadership is an intensive, short-term academic program that aims to give undergraduate students a deeper understanding of the United States while improving their management skills. The program will expand participants' knowledge of US history, government, society, and culture, and develop their leadership skills.
The program accepts only women aged 18-25 who are studying at universities. The host country will cover all expenses of the participant, including visas, international and domestic flights, ground transportation, educational literature, participation in cultural events and incidental expenses, as well as accommodation and meals. All participants will receive medical insurance for the duration of the program.
Requirements for candidates:
– Proficiency in English (translation or interpretation is not available during the program, so all participants must be proficient in English),
– Current undergraduate studies - applicants must have at least one semester left at their university after completing the program,
– a high level of academic achievement, as evidenced by letters of recommendation and academic certificates,
– little or no prior training or travel experience in the United States or other countries outside the country of residence.
