Turkmen hunting fans uncovered their guns - the hunting season has come and will last until midnight hours on March 25th, 2018. This is reported by the State Committee for Nature Protection and Land Resources. It will be possible to participate in the hunts only on special hunting grounds and common areas. It is forbidden to hunt in specially protected natural areas, in places of mass recreation, on regional reproduction lands and channels leading to artificial reservoirs. Also it is forbidden to hunt in days of rest - Monday and Tuesday, and during unfavorable weather conditions - strong frosts, etc. Laws "On Nature Protection" and "On Hunt and Hunting in Turkmenistan" authorize amateurs of this ancient industry to hunt for species of animals not listed in the Red Book of Turkmenistan during the season. This wolf, jackal, fox, korsak, steppe and reed cat, hare-Tolai (no more than two for one hunter), blue dove, lane, coot, duck, grebe, big and small cormorant, partridge, goose, white-bellied and black-bellied fiddle. There are certain limitations associated with the rearing of the offspring of animals. For example, geese and ptarmigans can be hunted until February 18th, 2018, and in order to "take" a wild boar as a hunting trophy, a fee will be required by the State Committee for Nature Protection and Land Resources. And besides, lovers of hunting should get a season ticket.
