Turkey declares its readiness to transport Turkmen natural gas to Europe
Turkey is ready to transit Turkmen natural gas to European markets and will do everything possible for this. This was stated by Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Donmez during the IV Turkish-German Energy Forum in Berlin, Anadolu agency reports.
The minister said that many countries in Southeast Europe are in contact with Turkey to meet their gas needs, and added that his country plays an important role in transporting energy resources to nearby countries.
According to the Anadolu agency, now Turkey is actively working on issues to do everything possible related to the establishment of the transit of natural resources of the Caspian region and the Eastern Mediterranean in the European direction. This is especially true for the natural gas of Turkmenistan, Iraq and other countries.
