The 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Armenia was celebrated with a concert in Ashgabat
A grand concert dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Armenia was held in the Turkmen capital, MIR 24 reports.
The State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan performed the most popular hits of the Armenian composer, People's Artist of the USSR, pianist and teacher Arno Babajanyan on the stage of the Mukams Palace.
Among the works performed are such hits as "Beauty Queen", "Give me back the Music", "Ferris Wheel", "The Best City on Earth", etc.
During the performance, behind the backs of the musicians, shots from the life of the famous composer were shown on the big screen, which immersed the audience in the atmosphere of those years when Babajanyan created his now popular works.
