Private sector lending is growing in Turkmenistan

The volume of lending to the private sector of Turkmenistan increased by 34.3% in 10 months of 2022 compared to the same period last year.
According to the Central Bank of the country, presented at a meeting of the Turkmen government on Monday, the total amount of loans issued from January to September to private producers of agricultural products increased by 1.9 times.
Borrowed funds were allocated for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises by 3.1% more compared to the base value of last year.
The total amount of civil loans issued for the purchase of real estate increased by 7.5%.
