The Turkmen Ambassador discussed the prospects for the development of the fuel and energy sector with the head of the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan held a meeting with the Minister of Energy of the Republic Parviz Shahbazov, during which the parties discussed the state and prospects of cooperation in the field of energy, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy reports.

The interlocutors highly appreciated the importance of the agreements on joint exploration, development and exploitation of hydrocarbon resources of the Dostluk oil and gas field located on the shelf of the Caspian Sea.

According to various estimates, the reserves at the field range from 50-60 to 200 million tons of oil and about 100 billion cubic meters of gas.
