Turkmenistan proposes to form a unified "commodity distribution system" for the Caspian region countries. This was stated on Thursday by Deputy Prime Minister Hojamyrat Geldimyradov at the plenary session of the second Caspian Economic Forum in Moscow.
"We consider it necessary to combine our efforts to form a commodity distribution system that will allow us to comprehensively address the issues of developing trade infrastructure and creating export channels," TASS quoted a member of the Government of Turkmenistan.

The Deputy Prime Minister called the harmonization of legislation in the areas of digital trade, customs procedures and certification, cooperation between control and supervisory authorities, and the organization of cross-border flows important areas for cooperation between the five Caspian countries.
