Trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan tripled in six months

Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan tripled the volume of trade turnover in January-June 2022 and brought it to $59.88 million, Charge d'affaires of Kyrgyzstan in Turkmenistan Turatbek Junushaliyev said in an interview with the Turkmenistan newspaper.
"Our country considers Turkmenistan as a very important economic partner and attaches great importance to the development of bilateral trade and economic relations," Junushaliyev noted.
Kyrgyzstan shows special interest in importing various types of Turkmen products, primarily agricultural and food products, the Charge d'affaires of the country noted.
