Samsung to triple microchip production by 2027

Multinational Samsung Electronics has announced plans to triple its microchip manufacturing capacity by 2027 to meet growing demand despite the current global economic turmoil.
The South Korean company's second-largest plant in the world after Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. intends to begin production of 2 nanometer microchips by 2025 and 1.4 nanometer chips by 2027 for high-performance computing and work with artificial intelligence.
