Mammetkhan Chakiyev, Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Co-chairman of the Intergovernmental Belarusian-Turkmen Commission on Economic Cooperation, met with Ambassador of Belarus Vyacheslav Beskosty on October 1.

The sides discussed issues on the bilateral agenda in detail, including preparations for the 10th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission. The readiness to step up the pace of trade and economic cooperation and cooperation in the field of transport was confirmed.

Earlier it was reported that direct passenger flights on the route Ashgabat-Minsk-Turkmenabat will be resumed by Turkmenistan Airline in October. In the same month, Belavia will resume flights from Belarus to Turkmenistan and in the opposite direction.
