The "Turkmengas" State Concern will purchase material and technical equipment and means for increasing the production of liquefied gas. The decree was signed by the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Friday, TSN writes.

According to the document, the Bagajan gas purification and LNG production complex will be upgraded and brought to full capacity due to the new equipment. This should also contribute to increasing the production of blue fuel from the field of the same name.

The liquefied gas produced by Turkmenistan is in great demand on the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of the country (SCRMET). The average market price of LNG on the Turkmen stock exchange is $500 per ton.
