Afghanistan plans import contracts from Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Iran

The Afghan Ministry of Trade and Industry announced that it plans to sign agreements with Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, as well as with Iran on the import of wheat and petroleum products to the country's market. This was reported on Saturday by Tolonews.

"We had talks with Turkmenistan about oil. We want to have formal and permanent contracts. We are negotiating with Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Iran about wheat and flour," the agency quotes the representative of the department.

Earlier, the Taliban signed a contract for the supply of petroleum products, gas and wheat from Russia.
