On Wednesday, the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with representatives of foreign companies who took part in the celebration of Turkmenistan's Independence Day, including events at the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex.

The Head of the State had meetings with Peter Kallos, Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Buried Hill Energy oil and gas company, and Marquart von Pentz, Head of the Agriculture and gardening equipment division of the American engineering company named John Deere.

During the audiences, in addition to the festive theme, practical issues of cooperation and its prospects were discussed. In particular, at the meeting with Peter Kallos, Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan, having enormous hydrocarbon resources, is ready to expand international cooperation in the extraction and diversification of exports of power resources.

Kallos, in turn, announced the interest of Buried Hill Energy in further development of deposits in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea, which it has been conducting for many years.

At the meeting with Markwart von Pentz, the Turkmen leader focused on the technological modernization of the Turkmen agro-industrial complex and noted fruitful cooperation in this area with John Deere developers. The Head of the State said that Turkmenistan is interested in updating the technopark of the agricultural sector.

The representative of the company also expressed his desire to continue and deepen long-term cooperation in the supply of new models of agricultural machinery, taking into account the requests of Turkmen customers.
