The President of Turkmenistan told to increase sales of cotton yarn and fabrics through the stock exchange
During the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Friday, the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the government to take measures to increase sales of cotton yarn and fabrics through the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET), the official Turkmen press writes today.
"It is necessary to introduce a digital system into the work of the SCRMET, to establish an electronic document flow, which will allow checking and approving projects of transactions registered on the exchange," the head of the state said.
The Turkmen leader also instructed to establish electronic auctions of carpets and carpet products, continuing the digitalization of the procedure for placing orders, production, and sale of this category of goods.
At the meeting, it was also reported that for eight months of this year, 199 trading sessions were held at the SCRMET, at which 24 thousand 173 transactions were registered.
