The head of the Turkmen Ministry of Foreign Affairs held bilateral meetings in Riyadh
Within the framework of the first ministerial meeting of the member countries of the Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Gulf and the States of Central Asia held in Riyadh, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a number of bilateral meetings with colleagues.
In particular, he met with the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Oman, the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Kazakhstan.
During the meetings, current issues of cooperation were discussed, including in the trade, economic and investment spheres, as well as the promotion of regional projects and the work of joint cooperation mechanisms. The importance of high-level and top-level visits in the development of interstate relations was noted as well.
