Vice Ministers of the Foreign Ministries of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan discussed the upcoming summits in Nur-Sultan


Negotiations between the Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan were held in Nur-Sultan. Berdyniyaz Myatiev and Ermukhambet Konuspayev discussed topical issues on the bilateral agenda and reaffirmed the mutual readiness of the countries to expand mutually beneficial partnership in politics, economics, trade, diplomacy and in the cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The vice ministers noted the positive experience of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan within the framework of the UN, CIS, ECO, OIC and other international organizations.

It was noted the role of mutual visits at the highest and high levels in the development of interstate relations. It was also about improving the legal framework for cooperation and organizing political consultations at the level of the foreign ministries of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan in accordance with the program on inter-MFA partnership for 2021-23.
The parties paid special attention to the implementation of the agreements reached following the state visit of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Turkmenistan in October 2021, as well as preparations for the participation of the Turkmen side in the upcoming international events in the capital of Kazakhstan in October 2022 - the CICA and CIS summits and CA-RF.
The diplomats discussed the possibilities of expanding scientific and educational contacts, activation in the field of medicine and health care, according to the information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
