IIR of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan: the main lesson is to be a patriot

Most of us, when we hear the combination of the words "The first of September", immediately imagine tiny first-graders and high school students who have grown up unexpectedly over the summer.
But this holiday is not only for schoolchildren, but also for their older comrades. For them, this day is fun and reckless as well. And at the same time- a little sad. Because some of them crossed the university threshold for the first time as first-year students, while others came to their native alma mater for the last time in the same role – figuratively speaking, the "teacher of teachings".
A huge layer of seemingly endless life opens up before both of them. It's akin to sailing a boat on a narrow river – the shore is nearby on the right, and the same on the left. You swim and think how not to run into an embankment hidden under the surface of the water.
And suddenly the river ends, and the boat floats out to sea – no shores for you, no shoals. And so – to the end of the horizon. And this is the characteristic infinity of life…
The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, like all universities of the country, has thoroughly prepared for this important day for all – both for first-year students and prospective graduates of the current academic year.
Since early morning, slender rows of students of the country's higher diplomatic school have lined up in front of the white-marble building.

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov, Rector of the university Jumamyrat Gurbangeldiyev, as well as one of the founders of the national diplomatic school, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan, Professor Amangeldy Rahmanov spoke for the future cadres of the foreign policy sphere of Turkmenistan.
Among the guests of honor was a close friend and in the recent past a colleague of the university faculty - Secretary of the National Commission for UNESCO, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Chinar Rustamova.

As for the students themselves, they were not just spectators at this celebration of young and ambitious boys and girls. They, sparing no effort and diligence, prepared a gift for mentors and "fellow students". It was a musical and literary composition, voiced, as befits diplomats, in different languages.
The authors of the joint work are two sophomore students, and the performers- attention- those who crossed the threshold of the higher diplomatic school for the first time today (the days of fiercely intense entrance exams do not count).
Among those enrolled in the Institute of International Relations are representatives of all regions of the country and its capital. Among them are the winners of not only national, but also international competitions and Olympiads.

Yesterday's schoolchildren, and now first-year students, who participated in the fairly sensational (in a good sense of the word) contest "Young Messengers of the World", stood out especially.
They are known not only by sight, but also by name. And not only at the university, but also in many parts of Turkmenistan, as this intense and interesting competition, held during the past academic year, keeping the intrigue until the very end of the battle of experts, attracted the attention of both their peers and adults.

The third-year students (and by the standards of university studies they are already elders) carefully and proudly handed over to the still unexperienced newcomers–students a symbolic key and a diploma of the university - the main forge of personnel for the diplomatic sphere of Turkmenistan.

And the creative presentation of talents ended with the first lecture on a patriotic topic for first-year students.

And this is quite justified, because every student of the independent neutral state should first of all be a patriot of the Motherland.
And this is the main lesson that the students of the country's higher diplomatic school have learned.
