Bidding on SCRMET: technical iodine has been sold for export


On Friday, August 19, at the auction of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, a deal for the export of the "A" grade technical iodine was made, the correspondent of ORIENT reports.
The products produced by the "Bereket" iodine plant will be delivered to the customer from the United Arab Emirates.
The cost of the goods was estimated at $32.8 thousand per ton. In sum, 40 tons of products tota6 $1.3 million will be exported.
Technical iodine is widely used in industry, particularly in the production of synthetic caoutchouc, non-ferrous metals, lacquers, paints, medicines, etc.
