China will join the international celebration of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly's birth
The diplomatic Mission of Turkmenistan in China has begun preparations for the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Pyragy with an event to which it invited representatives of the Chinese Equestrian Industry Association, cultural, scientific and business circles of the Celestial Empire.
Ambassador Parahat Durdyev, opening the meeting, gave a succinct description of the work of the Turkmen poet and said that in 2024 Turkmenistan will widely and solemnly celebrate the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly's birth. In this context, he called for the joint organization of international conferences on this topic, the promotion of publishing various publications, scientific research, as well as the implementation of translations of the poems of Magtymguly, where China and Turkmen horses are mentioned, into Chinese.
The diplomat thanked the Secretary General of the Chinese Equestrian Industry Association Yue Gao Feng for strengthening bilateral relations in general and especially in the field of horse breeding and popularization of Akhal-Teke horses. He also expressed gratitude to all Chinese friends who contribute to the development of friendly relations between the two peoples.
In turn, Yue Gao Feng offered to work on a project of a conference on the unity of views of two philosophical movements representing Turkmenistan and China, associated with the names of Magtymguly and Confucius.
The Ambassador handed Yue Gao Feng a certificate of membership in the International Association of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding with a request to present it to the horse breeder from China Liu Shuchin, who was accepted into the association by its president Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
