Geological research using the latest technologies is being actively conducted on the territory of the future Ashgabat City in the north of the Turkmen capital.
The stand with the information about the details of the mega-project was presented today at the international exhibition "Construction, Industry and Energy of Turkmenistan–2022" in the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Using advanced equipment, the specialists examined the soil and continue to carry out fundamental work necessary for the correct design of load-bearing structures of future buildings of Ashgabat City.
In the specially created scientific zone on the territory of the future city in the city, specialists also study other features of the area. Their "assistants" are different digital devices, including unmanned aerial vehicles with advanced electronics on board. They collect information from the air and help scientists learn more about all the characteristics of the territory.
The model presented at the exhibition demonstrates many layers studied by geologists under the area of the future Ashgabat City and tells about the physical and geological, hydrological, and other properties of the soil.
Next to the image of the current state of the project is a model of the future Ashgabat City with all the structures and residential buildings to be erected. It is clear that scientists and builders still have a lot of joint work to do, but every day the idea is getting closer to implementation.
The groundbreaking ceremony of Ashgabat City took place in May last year. It is expected that more than 107 thousand residents will live in 180 fashionable 12-35-storey buildings on the territory of the modern residential complex with a "smart" filling.
The total area of the project is 744 hectares, on which it is planned to build more than 240 objects for various purposes. There will be more than 17 thousand apartments in the residential buildings of the city in the city.
