Bidding on SCRMET: urea sold for export for more than $42 million
On Monday, July 25, 27 deals totaling $42.4 million and 13.8 million Turkmen manats were concluded at the auctions of the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan, ORIENT correspondent reports.
The representative of Singapore purchased at auction 150 thousand tons of carbamide brand "B", produced at the plant "Garabogazkarbamide". The cost of the goods was estimated at $283 per ton. The total amount of the transaction was $42.4 million.
In the domestic market, local businesses purchased 110 tons of high-density polyethylene of the T60-475-119 brand for a total of 1.9 million TMT, as well as 1 thousand tons of calcined petroleum coke for 3.7 million TMT and 2 thousand tons of total petroleum coke for 4.2 million TMT.
At the same time, Turkmen entrepreneurs purchased 2.5 thousand tons of oil bitumen of various types for a total amount of 3.8 million TMT.
Also, deals were made on the domestic market for the purchase of handmade Turkmen carpets for a total amount of 102.4 thousand TMT.
