Bidding on SCRMET: a wide range of petroleum products has been sold for export


On Monday, July 18, 48 deals totaling $25.5 million and 32 million Turkmen manats were concluded at the auctions of the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan, ORIENT correspondent reports.
Entrepreneurs from Afghanistan purchased 1.9 thousand tons of liquefied natural gas, the price of which decreased by $0.80 compared to previous auctions and amounted to $566 per ton. The total amount of LNG transactions amounted to slightly more than $1 million.
The Afghan business also purchased 3.3 thousand tons of A-92 gasoline at the auction. Its price increased by 1.9% compared to previous trading and amounted to $1,044.50 per ton. The total amount of transactions on the product amounted to $3.3 million.
Representatives of Turkey and Afghanistan purchased 15 thousand tons of hydrotreated diesel fuel for a total of $18.6 million at the SCRMET. The price of petroleum products decreased by 10.1% compared to the last similar transaction.
Turkish and Afghan businesses also purchased 3.7 thousand tons of straight-run gasoline at the auction. The sum of all fuel transactions amounted to $2.4 million. The price of this product increased by 5.7% compared to the previous auction.
Entrepreneurs from the UAE and Kyrgyzstan signed deals for the supply of various types of cotton yarn for $ 1.2 million.
In the domestic market, local entrepreneurs have purchased more than 1.6 thousand tons of high-density polyethylene of the T60-475-119 brand. The total amount of transactions amounted to 30 million TMT.
A Turkmen businessman purchased 2.3 million tons of cotton yarn. Also, local entrepreneurs bought handmade Turkmen carpets for 124.2 thousand TMT.
