China and Central Asian countries to hold IX Cooperation Forum
The IX China‒Central Asia Cooperation Forum will be held in a videoconference format next week, on July 12 and 13. The forum is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the PRC and the Central Asian states and is aimed at further development of relations. The event is organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China by the SCO Chinese Committee on Good Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation.
The main theme of the forum is "Joint counteraction to challenges based on mutually beneficial cooperation for the sake of a common wonderful future." It is planned to hold sessions on agriculture, education and the digital economy, as well as a women's forum.
