President of Turkmenistan appoints new Attorney General

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov released Deputy Prosecutor General, Senior Adviser of Justice Begmyrat Begmyradov from the temporary duties of the country's Prosecutor General.

The junior justice adviser Serdar Myalikgulyev, who until that moment had worked as the prosecutor of the city of Ashgabat, was appointed to this position.
The head of state signed the relevant documents on Tuesday during a meeting of the State Security Council of Turkmenistan following the results of the first half of the year.

As the President said at the meeting, this decision was made in agreement with the Upper House of the Turkmen Parliament.
