The Embassy of Japan in Turkmenistan invites you to the world premiere- a travelling exhibition of the Japan Foundation named “I love sushi”. The opening ceremony will take place on July 8 at the Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan.

The exhibition is one of the cultural events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Turkmenistan.

Sushi is the most famous representative of “washoku” (Japanese cuisine). Dishes of the Land of the Rising Sun have long gained popularity all over the world. In December 2013, traditional Japanese cuisine was included in the UNESCO Register of Intangible Cultural Heritage and became the fifth in the list of “culinary legacy” along with French, Turkish, Mexican and Mediterranean cuisines.
