Turkmen wrestlers won gold medal in Bucharest, while handball players – silver medal in Ulan Bator, what will others win?
The Turkmen athletes won three awards at the Cadets International Junior, Greco-Roman Wrestling, which was held in the capital of Romania – Bucharest.
The gold medal was awarded to the student of the Ashgabat Olympic Reserve School Abduvali Rahimbayev (48 kg), while other students from the same school – Kiyas Charyyev (55 kg) and Didar Orazberdiyev (65 kg) – won the bronze.
Handball Women’s teams of Turkmenistan of two age groups – U-17+ and U-19 – won silver medals at the International Tournament “Junior IHF Trophy 2019” in Ulaanbaatar.
Same good results are expected from 10 Turkmen karate players at the Karate1 Series A. The tournament starts on May 17 in Istanbul.
At the end of the month, Turkmen Women’s team will compete at the Basketball 3x3 Asian Cup. Competitions will be held on May 24-26 in the Chinese city of Changsha.
The Turkmen national team will perform in D Group, where Iranian basketball players and qualifying tournaments winners will compete the same group.
Basketball players from Turkmenistan hold intensive preparation for the upcoming championship. Now they are at training session in Lithuania – the city of Kaunas.
