Culture Week-2023 will be held in Ashgabat
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on holding a Week of Culture in 2023 in the capital of Turkmenistan – the city of Ashgabat, the official Turkmen press writes today.
The events within the framework of the campaign will be held from June 22 to 27, 2023. A special organizing committee will prepare them.
The Ministry of Culture, the State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography, the Turkmen State Publishing Service, the TDH State Information Agency and the Ashgabat City Hall have been entrusted with the organization and coverage of the Culture Week in the media.
The Week of Culture is held annually in different regions and cities of Turkmenistan on the eve of the celebration of the Day of Workers of Culture and Art, as well as the poetry of Makhtumkuli Fraga.
This holiday, which is taking place in Mary region this year, is designed to stimulate creative workers, contribute to improving the quality of their works and encourage authors to increase the glory of Turkmen culture, art and literature.
