Turkmenistan will accelerate the development of deposits on the contract territory of Cheleken

The Government of Turkmenistan is considering the terms of a new contract with Dragon Oil, within the framework of cooperation with which it is planned to accelerate the development of the Turkmen shelf of the Caspian Sea.
This issue was discussed at a Cabinet meeting on Friday, the official Turkmen press writes today.
The parties plan to accelerate the development of hydrocarbon deposits on the contractual territory of Cheleken on the basis of a Production Sharing Agreement.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the proposals presented by Deputy Prime Minister Shahim Abdrakhmanov at the government meeting.
