Bidding on SCRMET: iodized salt and iodine pencils are sold for export
On Thursday, June 23, 5 deals totaling $993.7 thousand and 904.1 thousand Turkmen manats were concluded at the auctions of the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan, ORIENT correspondent reports.
An entrepreneur from Afghanistan purchased 500 tons of TS-1 jet fuel, the price of which decreased by 4.7% compared to previous auctions and amounted to $ 1,115.75 per ton. The total amount of the transaction was $557.8 thousand.
A businessman from the UAE signed a deal for the supply of 10 thousand tons of iodized salt produced at the enterprise of the state concern "Turkmenhimiya". The total amount of the transaction was $200 thousand.
The representative of Pakistan purchased iodine and diamond green pencils produced by the Ministry of Health and the Medical Industry at auction – 48 thousand pieces each. The total amount of the contract was 128.6 thousand TMT.
Entrepreneurs from the UAE also purchased various types of cotton yarn for $235.8 thousand and 775.5 thousand TMT.
