Bidding on SCRMET: cotton yarn worth $1.5 million was sold for export


On Tuesday, June 21, at the auction of the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan, an entrepreneur from Turkey concluded deals for the purchase of various types of cotton yarn produced at the enterprises of the Ministry of Textile, the correspondent of ORIENT reports.
The total amount of transactions amounted to 1 million 559 thousand 616 US dollars. Over 482 thousand kg of cotton yarn of various types will be exported.
Previously in monday about 400 thousand kg of cotton yarn were also purchased at the SCRMET auction by businessmen from India and Kyrgyzstan for $152 thousand and 18.4 million TMT.
