Newly graduated young professionals in Turkmenistan will enjoy tax benefits for the first three years after becoming employed.

Chairman of the Upper House of the Turkmen Parliament, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, proposed to provide for such an amendment in the legislation, the official Turkmen press writes.

In the first year after graduation, young professionals will have to pay only 50% of the due income tax. In the second and third years of work, the benefit will be 25%.

An appropriate addition is planned to be made after paragraph 6 of Article 35 of the Law of Turkmenistan "On State Youth Policy", which concerns specific mechanisms for supporting youth. This regulation was developed and adopted in 2013.
