Serdar Berdimuhamedov speaks about the solidarity of the two countries

During a press conference following his visit to the Russian Federation, the President of Turkmenistan expressed gratitude to Vladimir Putin for the prompt response to a request for the supply of vaccines, medicines, and medical materials in that difficult period for everyone.

“In the course of the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation showed a brilliant example of solidarity,” President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized.

Last year, the Turkmen side was supplied with 330,000 Sputnik V vaccine kits, in January of this year - 800,000 doses of Sputnik Light, of which 300,000 were free of charge.
