Putin supported the idea of creating a Russian-Turkmen university

Putin supported the idea of creating a joint Russian-Turkmenistan university proposed by Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
“Mr. President came up with an idea. The idea is very good, we, of course, will support it - to create a joint Russian-Turkmenistan university,” the Russian leader said on Friday after talks with Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
“We are grateful to the leadership of Turkmenistan for their careful attitude to the Russian language and Russian culture,” Putin also said, recalling that there is a joint Turkmen-Russian school named after Pushkin in Ashgabat, where teaching is carried out according to Russian state standards and textbooks.
“Mr. President expressed his interest in expanding this school, for which I am very grateful to him. We will assist this in every possible way,” Putin added.
