Turkmen diplomats take part in Baku Marathon

The diplomatic corps of Turkmenistan in Azerbaijan ran along the streets of the capital in the framework of the Baku Marathon-2019. The annual marathon, with a 21-kilometer-long route, is held under the motto “Win the Wind!” This time the competition gathered more than 22 thousand fans of race all around the world and was aimed to support the development of sports. Today, sports is a new diplomacy. And the diplomatic corps of Turkmenistan use this opportunity to demonstrate by its example the country’s commitment to healthy lifestyle and focus on expanding and strengthening humanitarian contacts with friendly countries through sports and cultural events.
