Young mentors from Turkmenistan share pedagogical experience
More than 400 employees of children's centers and camps from Belarus, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Bulgaria, Nicaragua, as well as various regions of Russia, took part in the International Supervisor’s Forum held in the All-Russian national Child Center "Smena".
During the three-day meeting, from 27 to 29 September, on the picturesque Black Sea coast of the Krasnodar territory, mentors and representatives of pedagogical teams of children's recreational institutions exchanged experience in creating a unified methodology for training children’s supervisors and guides, and improving the educational process.
Teachers and supervisors for children sometimes become the most important people in camps and role models thereout. And for some young guides, this work opens the way to professional pedagogical activity and the sphere of education.
The program of the forum was quite rich. The training techniques of the counselors and the promotion of the supervisors’ movement were the key themes of the two scientific and practical conferences. During the round table, social and financial measures for encouraging youth to participate in public programs on organizing children's leisure and recreation were discussed. Participants had a series of interactive lectures, visited master classes, and participated in creative events.
The forum was organized by the Kuban Technological University and the Agency for Social Technologies and Communications and supported by well-known Russian universities - the Moscow and Ulyanovsk Pedagogical Universities, Russian ministry of education and science, and the Chamber of Young Legislators under the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly.
