In May, liquefied gas was in the greatest demand at the SCRMET


In May 2022, 162 foreign trade transactions totaling $195.2 million were concluded at the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan, ORIENT correspondent reports.
Liquefied gas was in the greatest demand on the stock exchange. In total, foreign businessmen purchased 28 thousand tons of LNG at the SCRMET for $ 13.6 million. The average price of the product was set at $487.45 per ton.
The most expensive liquefied gas was on May 11, when brokers offered $520.80 for it. Turkmen LNG cost the cheapest on May 20 – then they were ready to pay $465 for it.

Hydrotreated diesel fuel turned out to be the second most frequent commodity for sale in May. At its peak, the price for it reached $1,120.25 per ton. This product was purchased in the amount of 20 thousand tons for a total of 21.4 million.
Also in May, diesel fuel of the L-0.2-62 brand ($995.50 per ton), aviation kerosene of the TS-1 brands ($1,170.75) and Jet A-1 ($1,033.25), polyethylene of the T60-475-119 brands ($885) and T50-500 brands were sold for export at auctions ($880), A-92 gasoline ($1,024.25).
