Business Central Asia Magazine dedicated a special issue to Turkmenistan

A special issue of the international magazine "Business Central Asia", published in New Delhi, is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmen-Indian diplomatic relations. The English-language magazine focuses on key events and trends in Central Asia that affect the economy and business climate of neighboring regions and partner countries.
The main publications of the issue were detailed materials about the election and inauguration of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the visit to Ashgabat of the President of India Ram Nath Kovind in April this year. It was the first visit of the President of India to Turkmenistan in the history of bilateral relations, where a new young leader received a distinguished guest.
Analyzing the results of the Turkmen-Indian summit talks, the editorial board highlights energy as an important component of the interaction between India and Turkmenistan. "The successful implementation of the TAPI project... will provide affordable energy to the three participating countries, economically integrating South Asia and Central Asia. It is expected that India's demand for energy resources will increase, and TAPI can become an important source for maintaining the growth rate of the country's development," the editorial says.
The publication also believes that "India can increase its economic presence in Turkmenistan, especially in the information and communication technology sector."
The magazine also offered readers interesting historical excursions on Turkmen-Indian relations from the past centuries to the present day, analytical reviews of current cooperation in various fields, including educational. In this context, it is also told about President Kovind's visit to the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
It is pleasant to note that on the pages of the special issue "Business Central Asia" the publications of the ORIENT website related to the subject of the issue also found their rightful place.
