Turkmen fashion show in Seoul
The Ashgabat Fashion House presented its collection of national clothes in Seoul. Glamor Turkmen models in rich embroidered velvet and silk walked in the center of the Korean capital.
The show, organized as part of the Novruz in Seoul International Festival, gathered many guests. The collection of the Ashgabat Fashion House designers caused furor. Universal, bright national dresses opened for the Seoul people the modern Turkmenistan – dynamically developing, at the same time, preserving the ancient traditions.
In addition, within the framework of the festival, Turkmen artists - “Nyazli” art dancing group and the bahshy Lyalya Begnazarova – performed for the Korean audience. The residents of Seoul had an opportunity to get acquainted with the exhibition stand and the national cuisine of Turkmenistan.
The Novruz in Seoul Festival united the countries of Central Asia. During five-week program on Novruz, the cultural groups from Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan introduced the traditions of celebrating the spring holiday and national cultures and arts to Koreans.
