Investors purchased more than 1.2 million shares on the Ashgabat Stock Exchange for a total of 50,079,537 Turkmen manats, according to AFB website.

The value of securities sold in January-May 2022 amounted to 39,835,100 TMT, which is 3.7 times more than in 2021.

Currently, over 8 thousand shares of the bank "Halkbank", 5.5 thousand shares of the bank "Rysgal" and over a million shares of the bank Senagat are in circulation.

The par value of one share in Halkbank is 303 TMT, Rysgal Bank – 5,250 TMT, Senagat Bank – 20 TMT. The nominal value of Rysgal Bank shares has grown 2.5 times this year.

In total, 33 trading sessions were held at the Ashgabat Stock Exchange, during which 61 transactions were registered.

Recently, the leadership of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan has held many meetings with representatives of foreign stock exchanges aimed at intensifying cooperation in order to exchange experience and develop the national securities market.

It is also known about the preparation of the Roadmap for the development of the securities market by specialized specialists of Turkmenistan in partnership with various organizations, including USAID.
