Turkmenistan has allowed Iranian trucks to pass through its territory to Uzbekistan
From June 1, cargo carriers from Iran will be able to get to the border with Uzbekistan through the land territory of Turkmenistan and return back along the Serakhs-Farap-Serakhs route. This follows from the announcement on the website of the Agency "Turkmenautoulaglary".
Earlier, Iranian trucks could enter the territory of Turkmenistan through Inche-Burun from where the goods were loaded onto Turkmen cars for further transportation to their destination. Starting next month, trucks from Iran and their drivers will be able to pass through the territory of Turkmenistan, provided that a number of necessary requirements are met.
The permit will be granted "in order to effectively use the international transport corridors of Turkmenistan and increase the volume of international traffic."
