Travel in the capital's public transport can now be paid with "Altyn asyr" and "Maşgala" bank cards of all banks of Turkmenistan. The new service was launched by the agency "Turkmenautaulaglary".

The service is available on all city buses – passengers will be able to make a payment by attaching plastic cards that support contactless NFC payments to validators on the handrails of the entrance doors of transport. An activated bank card must have sufficient funds in the account (at least the cost of one trip).

The project was launched as part of the program of digitalization of the transport sector and improving the quality of services provided to the population of the country.
