One of the most spectacular matches of the Games "Ashkhabad 2017" was sports dancing. Here the first place was occupied by representatives of China, having won 5 gold medals, 2 silver and one bronze medal. On the second line is a team from the Republic of Korea with 3 gold medals, one silver and four bronzes. In the top three are also Japanese, they have one gold, two silver and bronze. One gold medal went to dancers from Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam. Representatives of Hong Kong got 5 silver awards. One silver and one bronze went to the Philippines. Macau (China), Thailand and Turkmenistan are located at the bottom of the standings - they have one bronze. Dance pairs pleased the audience with English and Viennese waltz, tango, slow foxtrot, salsa, samba, rumba, cha-cha-cha, quickstep, pasodoble and jive. For our compatriots this is the first serious battle of this level. We will not be upset that the "home walls" did not help much - the rivals were, indeed, experienced. But - "this is just the start of it."
