On May 9, the main celebrations in Ashgabat will be held at the memorial complex "People's Memory"
During a government meeting dedicated to the results of economic development in January-April of this year, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said that in connection with the great holiday – Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War, public organizations will visit the memorial complex "People's Memory" ("Halk hakydasy") on May 9, where they will lay flowers in memory of those who who has not returned from the bloody fields of the most brutal war in the history of mankind.
Such events in the life of our Motherland, the Head of state stressed, are of great political importance. At the same time, the President of Turkmenistan by his decree ordered the administrations of regions, cities, and districts to present monetary and other valuable gifts to war veterans and widows of soldiers who died in the war in honor of the 77th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
