Deputy Prime Minister for Culture and Media Reprimanded for Quality of TV Shows
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov reprimanded Deputy Prime Minister for Culture and Media Myakhrijemal Mammadova at a meeting of the Turkmen government on Friday following the results for January-April.
The head of state demanded greater attention to the issues of quality and professionalism in the preparation of television programs, which should reflect the life of the country, its achievements and successes, workers who increase the potential of the national economy, as well as motivate and inspire compatriots.
Comments were also made on the state of some cultural objects. Having signed the reprimand order, the president said that the activities of cultural institutions would be more closely examined at a government meeting following the results of the first half of the year.
