The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development intends to hold a number of events in Turkmenistan aimed at improving the investment climate, business environment and promoting Turkmen exports, Trend reports.

The OECD is organizing a series of seminars in Turkmenistan to discuss investment and export promotion policies. The organization will also monitor an ongoing project funded by the European Union and aimed at developing a legal environment for business in Central Asia.

According to the OECD, in recent years, Turkmenistan has begun to pay special attention to strengthening competitiveness and business development. The organization believes that the country can be involved in future work on the implementation of new projects aimed at developing trade and transport links.
